Renewable energy resources create benefits for all our customers by improving air quality and creating a more diverse power supply. Electricity from the company's wind, geothermal, hydro, biomass and solar energy facilities are integrated into Rocky Mountain Power's resource portfolio. With a diverse resource mix, the region enjoys a more reliable supply of energy.

The Blue Sky renewable energy program

Our voluntary Blue Sky renewable energy allows Rocky Mountain Power customers to purchase renewable energy above and beyond what Rocky Mountain Power buys for all customers.  We offer this program to customers so they support the increased development of renewable energy sources and minimize their own carbon footprint. More than 62,000 homes and businesses are currently supporting renewable energy through one of our Blue Sky options. To find out more about Blue Sky renewable energy, click here.
